Freelance videographer job opportunity!

Live Music Now Scotland and South Ayrshire Council’s Creative Learning Network are looking to work with a videographer to capture the outcomes of a 2-year project.

Funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Teacher Development Fund, four musicians from Live Music Now Scotland have worked in five additional support needs schools across South and East Ayrshire Council (Dalmilling Primary School, Doonfoot Primary School, Girvan Primary School, Hillside School and Invergarven School) delivering 40 sessions over 2 years.

The musicians have worked collaboratively with the teachers to develop their skills and knowledge to deliver a range of curriculum subjects through music with the aim of improving the student’s language & communication and wider skills.

The objective of the video is to capture the benefit of the project for everyone involved so it can be used to advocate the difference that music can make.

To apply, please download and read the full brief Videographer Creative Brief Mar 2024 and send your CV and links to your work (ideally involving interviews and capturing the arts in action) to Lesley-Ann Smith, General Manager of Live Music Now Scotland lesleyann.smith@livemusicnow.scot by Friday 12th April 2024.

Making a Difference...

How LMNS is providing music and opportunities for people across Scotland.

A collaboration between Live Music Now Scotland and PRISMA resulted in a Mexico residency for LMNS traditional fiddler Roo Geddes.

I really wanted the piece to be interactive. I wanted the audience and the performers to enjoy it, and to give them something to take away.

This summer Live Music Now Scotland was delighted to announce the next stage in an ongoing collaboration with Skye Chamber Music: a residency for LMNS musician Sophie Rocks.

In support of #ClassicalCOP26 we feature our range of sustainable focused projects.

We'd Love to Hear from You!

We are always happy to discuss new projects, opportunities or ways that we can help make music happen in your venue or community.
